As I Came Of Age

Out of all Sarah’s albums this is the one that is the most surprising to me.
Its quite different to anything else she has done and if I had heard any of these songs on the radio I wouldn’t have even thought it was her singing.
The songs are generally pop oriented but have a feel of Country and Western in places, there are moments when Sarah’s voice even begins to remind me of Olivia Newton John.
This is also probably my favourite of her albums and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Its something very unique between Sarah crossing from a classical ‘Broadway Show’ singer to her Dive/Nemo/Enigma phase.
